Well, What can I say? I've read through all that you guys have to say and its obvious that you all have your own opinions, which incidentally I more than welcome, comments such as these don't fall on deaf ears.
Having worked on and edited The Edge magazine for several years, the creation of Wakeboard and Waterski Magazine has come from many years of experience in the business both on my behalf and also Arcwind who have several other highly successful watersports titles. Having travelled the length and breadth of the country over the past few months, catching up with boarders of all walks of life, we are developing magazine to incorporate everything the majority of you want to see. I'd love to be able to keep you all happy.. but hey I'm an Editor NOT God! I'm sure you'll agree the latest (September) issue shows some cool developements. W&W is already 84 pages, which is thicker than any other wakeboard dedicated magazine in the U.K ever published AND its available in WH Smith's etc which is a huge step in itself. And as Mr Interfearence will know as you tried to start up your own magazine, you can't run before you can walk... or you'll fall flat on your face! Right???? And W&W is here for many years to come, growing with the sport and those in it! So, Mr Interfearance instead of wasting time having a gripe in here, why don't you email me? Why don't you think about writing your own wakeboarding articles to contribute? At the end of the day W&W is a riders magazine written by riders!!! Not golfer's... sorry to disappoint.. hehehehe  All suggestions and contributions are welcome, just drop me an email at: editor@wwmag.fsnet.co.uk or call me on: 01405 861855 On that note I'm gonna shoot, I got some new Split bindings to break in... But I'll expect to receive some calls or mails from ya soon. Ema Oooo and before I forget. Any of you guys got any comments you'd like to put forward on the Windermere speed limit bylaw? |

Well i met Ema at Wakestock and i'm not the ass kissing kind, but like i say its good that people try, my only gripe is that people are quick to judge and if they don't like something they should get involved.
Waterskiing and wakeboarding in this country is a minority sport and the only way people can make a difference is to try and contribute and take it to the masses. Good luck with the mag and hopefully it will take shape. Robin |

Hey Ema,
You can drop the 'Mr', its 'Interearence', we're all on first name terms here! Glad to see you visit the site (That wil teach me... I did admit I was a bit hard though!) Point taken. I'll be happy to try and contribute, maybe some of the others here will too? The Edge did look like a Corporate newsletter though! |

Ema,
Glad to see you're taking an interest in reader comments, no matter how fiesty it gets ;-) Just got hold of the latest copy and am now trying to destroy my tv by doing wakeskate shuvits in the living room. Anyway, let us know if you're getting a website sorted so we can link to you ... if you need a site developing and hosted then drop me a line... we provide free advertising on wakeboard.com to our wake related customers. (Blatant self promotion over ops: )

Hi Jeremy,
I always like to keep my eye on what everyone has to say, that's how we make the magazine better. At the end of the day we can't change the way we do things if we don't know they need changing! Good luck with the Shuvit 180.... they are so bloomin' difficult (or is that cos I is blonde???) Next issue we move onto sliding and grinding wakeskates! Arghhhhhh that's gonna hurt me thinks! We are working on a website at the moment, so I'll let you know how it progresses. I love this site by the way... Forums create a little community where people can swap tips etc. I always try to stop by and see what's happening. Don't worry about the fiestiness... Often these things generate good ideas! I'll let you know about the design front soon...okey dokey. Ema |

Hi Ema,
I think you do a great job - just as you did with the Edge - and that's not just because I won a £1500 bike off you! I've read issues 1.2&3, but where's the next one? I can't wait around all year for you! Got any good tips on how to turn me from a crap boarder to a pro? Westcoun'ry Boy |
