Default Wakeboarding Holiday

Hi everyone,

I have just got back from the south of france, we took the boat down there thinking we were going to do a lot of boarding but it was so windy nearly every day it was more like surfing! So i'm already trying to plan my next holiday for next year and i just wondered if anyone knew of any lakes in europe where you can ether take your own boat or ski behind one of there boat's i don't care which just as long as there is flat water and i can board everyday!

Thanks x

yeah the wakeboard coach is a spanish guy called Andreas, and Craig McCulloch is over there for about another month so if you want to wakeskate he is definitely the man! 8)

I just got back from there! Is a really nice lake. I am not sure if you saw my post in the other room. My advice for going here is:

- Take your own board or check out what they have first, (I am not that advanced and found it difficult getting used to a new board).

- Dont be afraid of heghts or hire a 4x4. (you get their my mountain edge or dirt track).

- Stay at Finca el Juncle, recommended on xtreme gene's site. (In the heat their at the moment (upto 44), the log cabins are like saunas).

- Hire a car for sure.

If you go I am sure you will enjoy it!

Cheers for that so you reckon it's best to take your own board. Do you know if you have to book quite alot in advance if there is a group of about 10 going?

Hope you had a good holiday by the way
