Everyone is aware that the comp will not make wakeboarding look as good as it can. So we were asked to compile an hour long film of boat riding and sliding that will be played on the 7m x 4m big screen throughout the event. It includes footage from the Nationals, Al fresco, Wakestock and freeriding from around the world. It will mainly focus on the riders who are going to be competing on the day so you can see them riding their best.

Here are the first image(s) from the indoor practice session, as you can see the lighting was dreadfull but the riding was impressive, I'll try and get the contrast on the photos better this evening when I upload the full set. I'll also encode the vid footage in divx format once I work out how.

Worked for me with Windows Media Player version 9, running under Win 2K.

Failing that, if you hate Microsoft with all of your soul, try downloading Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com/). Also works no problem.

You probably need to get hold of the DivX codecs at http://www.divx.com , you only need the free codecs not the bits that cost money.

Just uploaded a few more vids, the one of Ben Hitch snapping his board is pretty impressive, makes a loud cracking noise.

Just got a text from Graham saying the comp this evening went well with a large crowd and the riders putting on an impressive display. Bet the windsurfers wonder what the hell they're doing, yesterday they were doing some surface 180s....
