big respect to any one still out there ridin,went to sheffield cable on their last day with a mate of mine,fell off slider,swam in dropped me board thinkin if that had hit me toe be real painfull,get home a few hours later feet thaw out in monster pain, not sure why then realize bloody thing had hit only to numb to notice,massive bruise, broken toe!!!!!!!!!!!!

DBJTS bow to you. I'm still riding everyweekend in east anglia. Water's not too bad yet. Although I've taken to wearing gimp gear.

Chaterboy have you tried Verruca socks? They're the only thing I've found I can use with bindings.

i wear neoprene sock in my bindings, its a mission to get them in an u have 2 use a LOT of soap!!!!

Hopefully will be down for a ride soon chaters!

Still wearing 5mm rubber the dry suits only for when it gets cold Neoprene socks and gloves are a must and you need a set of winter bindings that are two sizes bigger so you can wear your socks.
Being in the water is truly not a problem with the right gear, the battle to stay warm starts when you get back in the boat. But I can definitely recommend Jobes neoprene duffel coat that things a life saver.
Oh and another mention to Heinz tomato soup, that reaches the parts hot coffee and Heineken cant.
Not to sure about the legalities of boarding on Loch Ness but as I’m in the area I’ll check it out.
