Default Loch Lomond - Byelaw Consultation

A public consultation is underway regarding the use of the loch .Similar to Windermere, some highly vocal people are suggesting a 10mph limit be introduced.

With the conflict that has and will continue between, jet skiers, pleasure boaters, ski boaters, ramblers and fisherman we MUST find a happy medium to address everybody's concrens. You have the opportunity to put your case forward by means of filling out the form from the link below.

I'd suggest every boat owner who uses the loch responds against this, I'm also going to ask everybody who comes out in my boat to do likewise. If we remain quiet and a new byelaw is passed then we have nobody to blame but ourselves...

Ally,

We can't allow another Windermere situation to occur at Loch Lomond. The questionaire you attached has an expiry date for submission of Feb 2003, is it still valid? Do we need to print it out and send or is there an somewhere online where we can voice our concerns.

Cheers,

G

The questionnaire is two years out of date and makes no reference whatsoever to boating, its all about woodlands. Have you given us the wrong link?

you'll need to follow the links from this page, it won't give me the URL for the downloadable pdf file.

Please download the documents below and send your responses to the address below (paper copies are also available from here) by 8 April 2005."

This makes me sick to see.

After the farce of the windermere ban it would be criminal to allow this to happen again...
