Default Best place to get new board and bindings?

I bought my board off Tim last year and bindings for this year. Very helpful and impartial . Also likes to do a deal.

Cheers guys, it sounds like a good shop. The only thing is it's a bit far for me to travel so i wont be able to look at the board or try the bindings on.

Has anyone got any suggestions on a good board and bindings to get?

There'll be loads of suggestions, unfortunately. Budget will have a big impact. Do you ride anywhere where people will let you try stuff out? Then you can buy later, once you have a feel for what brand suits.

Binding wise, I know a lot of people swear by Liquid Force, even if they ride other brands of board. I assume the ladies models are as comfortable as the mens.

I ride on the river blackwater in essex and prob wont be on the water till about April, The people i ride with are all blokes and there boards are alot bigger than mine.

My budget will be around £350-400. I'm not sure what size board to get, at the moment i ride a 135 liquidforce but i'm not sure if i should get a bigger board (i'm about 101/2 - 11 stone and 5 foot 7) I want this board to last a while so i don't want to grow out of it to quickly. My board i have at the mo is beginer/intermidiate so would it be best to go for an intermidiate/advanced or would that be no good?

You'll get a reasonable set up for that budget.

135 or 136 seems about right. Maybe give Lesley a call at JustWaterSports, and see if she is riding still - it may be worth your while doing the trek up to Norwich to try out some of the kit before you buy. It's not too far from Essex and when you're spending that sort of money it makes sense.
