Well I can confirm Xtreme-Gene is awesome. They have the best lake there I have ever seen, in a really cool setting. Super Air Nautique and a board coach who competes in spain.

Planning my next trip there already

Checked the X-Treme Gene website and it looks good. Please tell us more about your trip. Will my non-boarding partner go out of her mind or will she find stuff to do? (Actually she likes lying in the sun best, so I guess that's not going to be a problem at the right time of year.)

Thanks.

all they have is a bar, a massive lake, 3 boats and some dogs. Perfect for any rider.

brutto 76, it is not far from Seville either. La Mosquita in Cordoba is quite nice, (very touristy). There is a big castle and thats about it. If it is sunny she can sunbath, she can swim in the lake too. There is a bar that you run yourself.

Would she not try wakeboarding? Or ski?

Thanks for the info Mazza. Sounds like heaven to me.

Unfortunately, although she is perfect in every ther respect, she has a loony fear of water and won't swim or do anything where she might get her face wet. Drives me crazy although I pretend it doesn't.

Fortunately she is quite happy with a book and some sun as long as I wine and dine her right in the evening.

Nice one mate. Do you have photos to put up?

I'm also back in the UK after a flying visit to Malaysia (3 days + 2 days on a plane!!!!) As I said in my text - Ambient temps. of 30 degrees plus. Nice. I managed to get Wednesday afternoon off work after finishing the meetings early, so what's a fella to do? - Well, lake temperature of around 28 degrees. and an hour behind an Air Nautique Team Edition for £35 quid (250 Ringitts) was not to be sniffed at.

Need to say thanks to Aaron Chin, the guy who owns the boat and took me out at the Sunway Extreme Park. Needless to say it was a blast. Tried and landed some new stuff after Aaron's encouragement, and stacking it in that temperature doesn't seem so bad. Even went for some comedy double ups. (Although, to be fair, he was only running at half ballast)

Kept going until we ran out of fuel, and had to paddle back to shore. I'll have to get the photos developed and posted up. Fabulous. I am knackered and aching all over now, as that's the most solid riding I've done for months, followed by 20 hours travelling. Respect to you for doing 5 days in Spain!
