Dogpoo,

Its based on all the manufacturers boats. so even though theres Xstars and prostar 190's in the same category, theres also ski nautiques and air 226's.

Its a general concensus of th eproduct. value, quality, resale etc...

Thsi is the third year that correct crfat has won it.. not a bad track record if you ask me

On the Subaru thing, yeah the Legacy B4 is a Rapid car, but look at resale, quality compared to its rivals, service intervals etc... the results seem to be fairly accurate generally. as i mentioned, its based on customer feedback so i would go as far as to say that sometimes products are over rated by protective owners.

i am a firm nautique fan but given the choice i would take the Malibu every time. i don't know about build quality personally but i've seen an old malibu ski boat with a pole and 4/5 fatsacs pull 20+ tows a day for 6 months a year for 4 years and it was still pulling like a mother. the wakesetter vlx is the biggest wake i have every seen and nice to hit.

So what would you pick if you could have 1 free boat? Xstar or Super Air ?

Anyway It's snowing like billyo. I'm out of here. There's a hill calling me and my skate.

DaveD:
I would say that some people over rate their products when asked to fill in a custmoer feedback form. its one of the main faults with the system. however the people over rating/under rating aren't going to be limited to one brand... therefore there must be people (if indeed i'm right) doing it for all the boats in the survey regardless of the brand they bought. so it must level out in the overall results.

Not sure what i'm confessing to though... :?:

DogPoo - Free X star of course . look at the list pricing in the UK right now. an x star is not that much more than a Super Air Team ed. anymore; but regardless... i'd take the X star, sell it back to mastercraft, buy a super air and with the change go to Xtreme Gene in Spain for a few weeks
