Considering Malibu is constructed with a chopper gun construction.. where as Nautique is hand laid interwoven glass with AME 5000 resin... Nautique everytime. One performs well and has adequate strength, one performs well and is built like a f*cking tank!

Plus a nautique is so filled with foam whatever happens it'll give you something to paddle to shore on...

But to be honest... if i was in either of those machines i don't see myself intentionally crashing into anyone in a rush...

Both great boats.. but from a safety and construction point of view Nautique takes it by along way.

This may also be of interest to any nautique owners, or any other ski boat owner in fact... this is one of the only resources i take seriously.

Based entirely on Customer feedback alone.

Just my 2 cents.

Edit: God darn link is being silly

Surely if cash was not restricted Nautiques is the way to go?

Not very often JD power gets it wrong and i did check this out before purchasing our SAN.

Now if there was a best bang for buck then the malibu would be a serious contender for top dog.

But as for build quality ya gets what ya pays for.....
This is in no way dissin a malibu cause its a good boat and great value for money esp to the wakeboardin fraternity.

side note.. the link i gace won't link directly to the site it sbeing silly... you need to click "boats" and then ski/wakeboard boats to get to the reviews...
