Default How bad is the damage Doc?

Okay, I'm a bit narked. As some of you may know, I've bought a new board and bindings over the winter (Which shill haven't seen water yet  ) But one of the plasticy grommety things (I think that's their technical name!) on the bindings (Exit 13's if that makes a difference) that the laces thread through, has come off. The second one down from the top.

How much of a problem is this? Can I still ride with it like this?

Can they be fixed with a simple rivet? If so, where an I get this done? Or do they have to go back to O'Brien for major surgery?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

If the bindings are new, they are covered by a years warrenty, especially if you havn't used them give the dealer you purchased them from a call and they should sort out a warrenty return for you. Any defect in a binding should be reported just in case there is a product failure. also not forgeting the most important thing your safety.
Regards

They're the 2004 model, and I got them on sale from a shop that was moving premises, so I don't think I have much come back there. I'll give them a buzz and see what they reacon though.

shroom if not give o Brien a call direct worth a call. I would still call the dealer back first if they are worth anything and want to keep customers they should be able to help you.
I am not an official o Brien dealer  so I can't help you, sorry mate, I deal with the Liquid force side of that company, If you don't get any joy and can't fix your boots . I have some 2004 alphas going cheap available on clearance at the moment if that helps you at all.
Best regards Lesley

You should definitely be able to sort something out with o'brien, after all that's the reason for buying in this Country. If not kick off with them and see what happens.

Other than that i would definitely recommend the alpha's - well comfy!!
