I've got one of those O'Neill Impact Vests, exactly like that one, and it says on the inside
"WARNING - THIS GARMENT IS NOT A LIFE JACKET . . . . . . This jacket should not be worn by anyone who cannot swim. The buoyancy factor and it's distribution within the jacket are not sufficient to float a conscience or unconscience person in the 'head-up' position." It's a sweet jacket though. I've found it really comfy and well padded for those big stacks (Well, until a faceplant comes along, then there's little I can do but have a close look at the water!) I'll give it the thumbs up myself! (And it fits around my big belly. Bonus!)

that warning is just the usual bull sh1t u.s disclaimer,and any way what does it matter............. when was the last time you saw a wakeboarder in a true life jacket
it went around my big belly as well, im only selling it cous i want an lf one!!!!!!!!!
