Default Topic of the moment, Windermere

Hey Guys,
thought you would all be interested in this article. WAF taking the piss out of the bye law already. I have had the unfortunate task of having to move my boat to north wales. I will miss the lakes so much. If you have also been pushed off the lake where have you decided to base yourself?
Jonny

Q. If your caught speeding - who is responsible.... is it

a. The Driver
b. The registered keeper
or c. The person being towed

If its a. then does anyone want to buy some balaclavas ????

If its b. Then deny all knowledge of whar=t was being done with you boat

if its c. then thats just stupid

Interested to know the real answer.

it'll be the driver, their in control at the time of the offence, unless you can come up with a good excuse to be going that fast. Pregnant women are always a good one!!

can't be the registered owner, although if it's a serial offence, they would be aiding and abetting by letting the driver continuously driving the boat

and the guy on the end o the line don't have much say in the matter!! And you can tow anything you like on the lae now, even banana's and tubes...

What a boring answer... ops: ops:

Screw it, just keep on riding!!

We moved to Chase nr Birmingham last season, was fed up of all the crap. If the ban ever got over turned we'd be straight back up there no questions asked.
