Thanks for your suggestions. Oxford and Kent seem a little far away. He's in Surrey. He's looking for somewhere without too many restrictions - some places seem to close at 5.30 or 6, which means we can't ride in an evening, only on weekends, and some have restrictions of only 2 boats on the lake at once, which means you're pretty restricted on when you can use it.

sorry thought you meant south east of the M25, so then the nearest place would be Oxford, either the one sim suggested or there is also 3 T's which you can launch your own boat on, it is very quiet and i think they allow you to run later than 5-6pm, i think you can also store your boat there, so it would only mean a drive up and launch, when i have ridden there we were the only boat out!!!!!
