Been once to Church Wilne about 3 years ago to give it the once over. After spending an hour trying to find the place no one spoke to me when I eventually arrived.

Oh and by the way, I thought Matt Price was only 16, bit young to own a lake!

matt price is bout 17-18ish now, he's movin up into the mens comp's now, so watch that space!! the guys gonna be good and make a mark.

basically, his lake is gonna be owned and run by his dad and john potter the nautique/hyperlite dealer. matt will coach there and is hoping to get into lboro next year, so will be nearby to get to the lake for his coaching.

In case anyone was in any doubt:

Matt, his dad and john potters place are the really nice people I talked about before.

Their place is going to be sweet as, having been behind an Air Nautique with those guys let me tell you - they know how to throw a wake !!!!

Really cant wait

Anyone hit up church wilne recently? specifically in the last few months?

After some large changes that aren't worth going into now i hear its been a pretty changed place.

I've been encouraged to head down and hope to in the next few weeks. have been several time in the past and would generally agree with the above negativity but to be honest... now Perf. natuques moved in and theres been some commitee changes it sounds like a pretty sweet place.

Any RECENT feedback? or is it still same old same old?

I was up that neck of the woods a couple of Sundays ago, visiting family, just thought I would have a drive past. The sun was out but the water was whitecapping, the place looks a lot more tidy since I was last there for the live2ride a few years ago but in my experience wherever there is a committee you are alway going to get politics and cliques especially when it is run by waterskiiers. Only stayed for 5 minutes.
