interesting idea, you can tell it was made by swervers, here's some of their gumpf of the website and one of their descriptions

"Whether you’re cutting the glass with your favorite slalom ski or doing the ballet on that new wakeboard, SOLO will give you pull that’s more than enough... even if you’re a footer!"

damn my tutu stories are leaking out

the problem i see with it is if your riding along, how do you see smiwwers or downed boarders that are in front of your SOLO which could be 60ft plus, away from you

They where first out in the late eighties and called "ski free".

They flopped big time as I'm sure these will.

Boarding and skiing is a social activity not something to do alone.

Might appeal to those with no friends?

Sorry guys but O quite like it. Though it doesn't look like it kicks out much wake.

I assume your suposed to be able to see downed boarders in front of you, over the top of the Solo, as it's only small.

I think it's a good idea, especially on a private lake. But I don't think it will take off.

This has been out for a few years now.
The danger problems have already been picked up on and to be quite honest.. they ar elike $10k.... for $10k you can get a very tidy jetski...

If you own a small private lake with nothing to hit on it... and you are an only child/hermit then its a good idea... for most though seems to be a dud idea...

Fair enough, for $10k, it really is an expensive toy. I'd buy a cheap boat and pay someone to drive for that. Not sure about the jet ski for that money though. It's not remote controlled for one thing.
