summer road trip

we are thinking of heading to france this summer for some fun on the lakes, but we dont really know of any lakes we could use, in an indeal world northern france would be best but any suggestions are welcome

Well if your thinking of going fever along the line of france then why not go Italy, We are goin to lake garda for 2 weeks this summer. we went last year and it was amazing. :P Better than England thats for sure!!!!! :P

This is where the Tea Boy comes in.............must be busy at work today. PM him for details i know he took a road trip to a superb facilty in france with a massive lake and surf not too far away to boot!

we went on a trip to south west Frace last summer with the baot in tow... couple of lakes nr Bordeaux... south lake was amazing, and both HUGE! and also like 3 miles from the sea too!!! inland laggons or something, but fresh water 8)

was amzing, 15hour drive tho 8O

There is a place run by a couple of english guys, its called Blonde Air, near the coast, bay of biscay, large fresh water lake 20mins from beach, you can take your own boat or they have a 2001 nautique loaded up, they offer kitesurfing aswell. They have static caravans or camping and can offerr transfers, i think they have a website???

You lot need to be posting links for some of these lakes, give the rest of us lazy bums some thoughts on where to go, specially you Welsh Matty, those lakes sound nice to me..........I believe I'm a little moist. 8O
