UK STUDENT NATIONALS SHEFFIELD CABLE - ALL WELCOME

Hi everyone,

Just writing to let people know about the UK student nationals coming up on 22nd-23rd June. This will consist of events in wakecable, wakeboat, wakeskate, kneeboard and a big air comp to finish.

All our welcome to spectate and some time in the afternoons will be allocated for spectators to ride on the cable, and possibly the boat (X2) if there's time.

At the end of the event (thursday night, 23rd june), an amazing band will strike up whilst the big air comp' commences and u get to see students hurting themselves.

From here the prize giving will happen and the part will commence with drinking, food, DJ's and the band.

For the final night it will be £5 to come into the area (to go to the band and DJ's), and £5 if u need to stay and camp'.

As i said all are welcome, and the more the merrier as usual with wake events. so please pop down even if briefly,

I was so up for it but unfortunatly its on weekdays and us students still on placement have to work

Anyway you can get the thursday off? I can fiddle things so people who can't make it the other days can turn up and compete on the last day.

Unfortunately it had to be a week day cause we couldn't afford to rent the lake and cable over the weekend as generally more punters go there.

Sorry bout this, but you should pop the question to your boss about taking the thursday off for a national competition!!!!

Its cool I wasnt planning to compete, just spectate. Im a hallam student so will be around if it happens there next year.

I Planned ahead an got the whole week off!

This year is a compertion for who comes second in the ladies as Tor will win asusual, FIX.

As for the men Garrrrrrrrrry and Camp James from the cable are contenders, but obvisoly LUfbra will fix the comp so they always win.
