Default Wakestock - where to stay

Have booked my tickets to Wakestock, but not camping as neither the girlfiend or I are much of campers - I don't even own a tent!!

Can anyone recommend a good place to stay, and also the best location. Do I want to be in Abersoch itself, or somewhere between Abersoch & Pwllheli, like Llanbedrog? I don't really have a feel for the geography of the area despite working in North Wales for a couple of years!!!

cheers

D

the festival site is a long way from anywhere. It's very likely that all the hotels in the area surrounding abersoch/pwllheli will be fully booked already, so if your not camping on site, you will be walking for an hour and a half to the nearest 'family only' campsites. book a camping pass dude, it's part of being at wakestock!!
Abersoch to pwllheli is about a ten minute drive at 60mph, and the site is in the middle. You don't want to have to mission, trust I did it last year and it's a f'n long way. Plus the old 'Hedlu' are out in force busting anyone who tries to walk on those roads.

you could call the wakestock office and ask for b+b numbers for Abersoch, it would be the better place to stay. there are free buses shuttling people to and from the festival site, you will have to queue but it beats walking!
really you should camp though 8)
