Default backroll help

Hey dudes and dudettes, Ok today i was on my new Lf Fish 133 and was trying backrolls but i cannot get the board all the way around only 3/4 then i hit the deck and get launched out of my bindings! Now its feeling great having a small board but im not getting the rotation. I was told my handle was too high and it needed to be nearer my hips? Any advice would be greatly apreciated as am back out monday and need to be landing something new!

Dude,

I have never ridden the Fish, but I have seen my mate from Ballistic land loads of back rolls, tantrums, scarecrows etc on one, and he really likes the boards.

The only advise I have which really helped me a couple of years ago when I also lost my back roll for a while. When you reach the wake and you start to ride up it, think about standing tall and straitening your legs as you come off the top. Yes still remember to keep the handle in and look up and over the trailing shoulder and you get the rotation no problem. But for e the standing tall off the wake as you look over the shoulder really helped.

Hope you stick it tonight dude
