Default Wakestock, how was it?

So how did Wakestock go this year? What were everyone's highlights both on and off the water?

Got back yesterday afternoon after a 7 hour drive, unfortunately we missed the big air comp at abersoch beach.

Wakeboarding / Pool gap etc were brilliant.

Robbie Reno was awsome, as were Dan Nott, Ben Hitch etc etc.

Infact all the riding was good, its a shame there's not more of it!

MC crowhurst was excellent again,

The festival itself... well...

I got a little bored of being asked whether I had any pills / charlie etc. Too many scousers and mancs (i'm a scouser by birth) trying to fight people / intimidate them etc. Real shame and it put all the group I was with off

Maybe next time I'll stay in a hotel nearby and just watch the boarding and the prize giving.

Must be getting old or something.......

That's the festival side of it all.

But you are bang on about the boarding, the standard was high again this year, and the amount of people out in the crowd we great, Top job by all the guys involved, you can count on me being there again next year.

Has anyone seen any pics on the NET yet?

got to see a short premier of 1fifty1 which was wicked.

pool gap was awesome...all the DVS boys were sick. i think reed had a problem with his rear end? haha the DVS tour bus was sick i got in it

got in to the VIP all night with no VIP tiket which was handy.

the bands were awesome, feeder rocked, zutons and I-koma were sweet friday night was fun aswell running around all the tents having a good old rave ha.

Was there with a bunch of non-boarders, so emphasis was a little different for me this year.

Due to an alcoholic game of footie going on untuil 5 in the morning, didn't get to see enough of the riding this year, but caught Nick & Dan, Craig'O etc. Standard seemed really high this year, the sliders kicked ass. Good to see a lot of familiar faces there.

Pool gap at the festival site was sick.

Festival was OK... almost too much headlining at the same time. Got there late on Friday, planning to see Carl Cox - his set was good but the vibe didn't work (for me)in the open air. Would have been better in a club.Spent more time in the next tent listening to Adam Freeland, who rocked it.

saturday the music was good.. Feeder, Zutons, caught most of the major acts, didn't see any trouble or intimidation.. right about there been loads of scousers though
