stack, that looks cool dude, have you ridden behind it yet? How is it with that clutch?

also, wakeboardning isnt extreme. the only thing that really is, is freestyle motoX. it makes everything else tagged 'extreme' or look like fishing

The clutch works well. Very inexperienced people can struggle getting on the plane though. I suppose its differnet to a TAV in the fact that the engine will pulse as the govenor kicks in whereas with a TAV you'll just get dragged through the water very slowly. I'm in the process of building another with a TAV so will be able to give a better comparison in a few weeks.

Took me a while to get used to it initially, but its all good now. Interested in trying one with a TAV.

Quite amusing banter and an old thread but couldn't resist posting when I can across it.

Just thought I'd add the crossover between the sports is wayyy closer than the 90%, 10% rubbish posted previously.

Almost every one of the decent kiters I know wakeboarded (and snowboarded) before kiting. (And still do both). In fact if they hadn't wakeboarded first the learning curve would be way bigger and all the learners I know who've not wakeboarded struggle like hell.

We kite coz we board on the irish sea and its always fecking rough and windy. When its flat and calm we wakeboard.

Its that simple.
