mnnn, know what you mean...we agonised about the dates but thought christmas time would be good because...it's a month before the next excel show, we can all send our rellies to the show to buy lots of things from our christmas lists (well, that's my plan anyway!), everyone's in the party mood - (and we plan to have some seriously good parties), there are no other competitions held around that time and it's about that time when we all start to get serious withdrawal symptoms for the water...

...but date suggestions welcome for next year...especially as this means i'm gonna have to postpone my next cabwake trip from end of november to handle the event organisation!

I reckon any time after Surf Expo (Oct/Nov) up to Christmas is good.

This way all the following year product will be available for display and plenty of time to get those xmas presents sorted.

Only problem maybe if its too close to Southampton,

but then you may find exhibitors who do both SBS and LBS will drop the 2 and do 1 in the middle!

Anyhow good luck with the planning and I will definately be there one way or another.

Hey there...thanx for your last msge...not sure if you got my pm reply or not? Plans are going really well at the mo...we've been busy working hard on the logistics / sponsorship & marketing side of things and are now beginning to focus back on the creative and content....it's gone crazy so far as we already have over 500 provisional bookings for stand space and the exhibitor packs aren't being released until next week!

We have Whyte & Mackay onboard as the main sponsor and the plan is for their Vladivar Vodka brand to represent the watersports zone...but the Guinness Bar was in such hot demand that we're bringing that in too!

...so, for creating a show by boarders for boarders...let's get talking!
