Default Earls Court Boat Show Launching Dec 2007

Hi all...the rumours are indeed true...we are launching the Earls Court Boat Show 1st - 9th December 2007!

At the moment all details are under wraps until the press launch on Monday 29th Jan but we intend to really put the 'show' back into boat show.

And I can tell you that we're making the show much more accessible to the sport boat marketplace and reintroducing the watersports element that is seriously lacking at the moment. Re wakeboarding in particular...we're also talking to a number of pro riders with a view to building a show centerpiece and launching new competitions at the event...

We have so many ideas right now but would like to try and make the show really great for those of us passionate about wakeboarding...so this is your chance to get involved and tell us what you would like to see...we'd love to hear any thoughts you have, so get posting!

Cheers, Caroline

Well my initial thoughts are good choice of location... although Excel has a good approach for boats (e.g. it's on water) it' a pain to get to from West London or the West in general. Earl's Court is an easier journey which was the main reason I didn't make it to the Excel show this year... just couldn't face the trek across London.Good luck with the venture!

Thanks heaps for that...you're right, Excel does have the waterside advantage...but the access is a complete mare...after a 4 hour shelp up from Poole this year...admittedly with a few toll booth diversions...I was just about ready to kill!

Having extensively canvased exhibitors and punters we're convinced an event at Earls Court is the way to go...we've had such an amazing response since news broke this weekend...over 8000 people have so far registered an interest and we're already receiving stand bookings when exhibitor packs haven't even been released yet!

We're determined to make this a fun event with a some wicked parties and events planned...so will keep you all posted.

C
