Default Liquid Force & O'Brien bite the dust!

Just replied to a post on this site and realised the news dosn't seem to have drifted over here just yet....
Check out wakeword for the full story but in brief, Earth & Ocean sports (the company that owns LF) has run into problems....
So until they can work out some form of backing Liquid Force is no more, all staff and riders have been layed off!

EOS owned both LF and Obrien. But after reading some threads from don wallace (LF team manager) on wakeworld, he seems pertty confident that LF will be back in business in no time. as for Obrien, who knows??
But definatly wkaeworld.com and wakeboarder.com is definatly a good place to get up-to-date wakeboard news.

does the end of O'BRIEN mean that DARIN SHAPIRO is without a ride?

What he did when moved to O'brien (from hyperlite) he got in all the offers before he made a desision, so thats what he's propably doing. I think he'll go with origin boards, its the only team i can see him on. Maybe jobe, they're more independent from hyperlite now.
