Default boat storage lancaster or windermere

Thanks for the help with regards to the boat registering. Does anyone know were I can affordably store a boat in windermere or in Lancaster. Apart from ripping out my prop shaft snatchams worked well. Currently we are the nominated homeless and have no where to store our boat. any advice on launching or riding windermere very much appreciated.

cheers.

Thanks for the favour solid and I will move it soon

Their are lots of farmers out their with empty barns. I would just knock on a few doors. I currently store my 2 MCs on a farm near Preston for £180 per year which I think is a good deal (I do however get roped into helping him out with some odd jobs through the year!!).

Preston Marina have a big yard for boat storage it may be worth asking Steve the owner. They charge £16 per month trailer storage for boats paying mooring fees on the marina so I would expect he would want abit more just for staorage.

Have a look under caravan storage. I have mine lined up amongst caravans and mobile homes during the winter months. Google Maps will show you where if you type in your postcode then search for businesses such as 'caravan storage'.

Did you find anywhere to store your boat?

I'm in lancaster too and need to find somewhere that isn't the drive to store mine, if I don't do it soon I'll have to start living in it so the Mrs tells me.

I can't see what her problem is, so what if I had to cut the gatepost off to get it in and you have to scuttle past it like a crab to fit through the gap, oh and you have to sneak you rubbish into other people's wheelie bins cos they won't fit past it.

Actually she's probably right, it needs moving.

Sounds perfectly acceptable to me. At weekends I park the boat and landrover on the road outside my house. Its fun watching the neighbours shuffling there cars about to get on and off their drives!
