I could be wrong but I think a fishing club hs the rights to that lake. If they have then they won't want boats on it.

So... what do you reckon the minimum size is? I've found one (free to use - never tried out by anyone) that is about 500m long, however it's only about 80m wide (also in a quarry). I think the length must be just about acceptable, but how about the width??? Do you reckon I'll get too much chop bouncing off the walls?
