Had a couple of boat sessions at Thorpe on Monday but the weather was atrocious. Coming into the wind and rain you could barely see the boat!!

They closed the cable down eventually as water had got into the electrics.

Also managed to drop one of my binding bolts into the lake when taking my bindings off!!

Anyone know where you can buy a single liq locs rather than a set of 4??

The ballast tanks are full, but there won't be any extra weight other than people in it.

Plus if the lakes levels drop like they did last year they'll empty the ballast tanks again which is a real pain in the arse!

let me know when your planning on heading down mate and we'll hook up.

Take it easy

Kirky

Riding in the hard rain with wind whippin across the lake is what uk riding is all about. Sometimes i see grey clouds and think yes as i know that we will have the lake to ourselves.

It makes the days when we have blinding sun and butter lakes in mid august all the better!

Nice one to everyone who toughed it out on through the crap weather for some Bank Holiday Boarding.

It was annoying to be working but the 13 hours BH Monday overtime is going towards my new LF Watson!
