Awsome pic stu when was that taken? I will be up for a week in august staying at cashel campsite like we do every year! I totally agree with your statements about people having the rite qualifications to drive a boat, although i think experience counts for a lot too. there are some total muppets up at the great one who dont take anyone(including themselves) into consideration.

What boat ya ride behind?

Peace out!!

Update - the lifejacket laws have been temporarily relaxed. The original take on the new byelaw by those that police the loch was to have a CE approval mark on each lifejacket. This meant that anything with, say USCG approval for example, would be rejected.
For the immediate future you need to have a lifejacket supporting an approval to a similar standard but does not necessarily need to be CE. This will likely be a temporary measure, but it does give us time to go out and buy new jackets as necessary.

Me, I bought a couple of crappy lifevests with the all important CE mark for £20 each. They will be safely stored in my boat and likely never used... Another fantastic law having been passed.
