Default So hows your bank holiday been.

Been up Windermere since Fri night. Launched the boat for free, rode Fri evening, Sat morning and evening, Rode all day Sun and yesterday i could see my face in the lake at about 3.00 (so calm) so had to go back out. Not had any bother off the wardens and the weather has been great. WHAT A WEEKEND!!! Got 150l of water and 3ppl in the boat. The wake was scary big. I ache allover today, my ribs kill and i can hardly walk but well worth it.

damn, sounds like an awesome weekend... lets see... how did mine go:

Went boarding friday evening (managed to squeeze in a set after work). then it has been pissing down with rain all weekend, and i had a cold! And i was working yestarday!

So all in all, a fairly dull bankholiday weekend... glad to hear some of you lot had good weather/water time though!

Rode saturday but sunday/monday were a wash out. Rained non stop both days. About 4" of rain acording to what my pool collected.

Oh well was a cheaper than usual bankholiday weekend and I was able to do a bit of DIY so could have been worse.

Only rode Monday and it was a bit windy and light rain , but as it was the first ride on the new boat it rocked. Boat ran flawlessly and wake is huge, kicks you straight up. Oh and perfect pass is the best thing ever ..

Windermere Rocks! Only been there once, we got eight ppl in our boat and loaded up the balllast and the wake was great. We drove there and back in one day five hours driving each way and six hours on the lake! got home about half three in the morning!

Over the weekend i was working every day. sunday morning me and my bruv went to take his boat out at the lake where he keeps it but the staff there were being really difficult as the insurance company had not sent them a copy of our certificate and they wouldn't let us on the lake.

All was not lost we went to the Quays and had a double set each, some great coaching and we are gonna sort our membership up there now!
