Doh! I've been keeping an eye on the website waiting for info on how to enter!
Have sent them an e-mail now so shall have to wait and see... Just seen the comp announced at Liquid Leisure on 30th June - clashes with a Whirlybirds weekend

Oh pants!
 "The Amateur wakeboarding competition takes place on Friday 20th July. This includes both men and women qualifiers. The competition is invitational and we have already sent out all entry forms earlier on this year and selected the riders for 2007."
