Can I just check..... On the new calendar it states that the UK Nationals are now on 8th/9th Sept. Isn't this the weekend that was down to be Air07? Anyone know if there will be an Air07?
Also, while I'm on the subject of competitions.... is Wakestock a pro comp only or is there an amateur division - specifically a women's catagory? Can't find any info on how to enter. Don't know why I'm so keen as my riding's been pretty pants so far this year....but hey I live in hope!

Yes, we've had news that Air 07 has been cancelled along with the Live 2 Ride , which I guess everyone knows about by now.

Wakestock I believe is an invitation only event so it may be down to who you know. I'm happy to be corrected on that so if anyone else can add some info...

Also, does anyone have a link to the Vans tour details, trying to find out if the Cardiff Bowl is where I think it is...

Wakestock is an amateur competion also, that is held on friday. You will have to email the people at wakestock for an entry form though. I'm pretty sure last year i dont remeber any women entering in the amateur but i could be wrong.

Awww gutted that Air07 has been cancelled. Really enjoyed that last year.
Will see what I can find out about entering Wakestock then. Looks like it might be another call to arms.....(or boards??) for the gals out there to see if we can get a women's amateur division. It's a shame that most of the female riders don't want to enter the competitions.
Maryann - there was talk about you entering a Whirlybirds team - is that still on the cards?

women can enter the amateur division at wakestock and there is generally a 1/2/3 for the girls. having said that if you want to enter you should probably have applied for an entry form last year as any spare places fill up pretty quick. i think the actual closing date for entries is about now ish...

try emailing them though you never know
