Default Help with 1st board choice

Been waterskiing & kneeboarding for years, now think it’s time to buy a wakeboard.

Could do with some help on choice … riders will be between 210 and 240Lb

Use will be in-shore, so rarely flat calm. We ain’t teenagers, so not going to get particularly aerial, but we are pretty aggressive on skis & kneeboards.

Can you recommend a board (assume I would go for the largest size) and bindings .. they need to be reasonably adjustable due to different users, but all ‘large feet’

some of the boards I have been considering are
Obrien Oasis 143
Hyperlite Murray 143
Hyperllite ERA 147

dont know about the obrien,
but i'd say the other two are boards geared towards the slightly more advanced rider. i've been riding about 3 years and was looking at the Era and the Murray as a good progression from my current board,

you want something with a continuous rocker and maybe slightly larger fins from a beginners point of view, but if you feel you'll progress quickly go for one of the boards stated about.

also consider something like the liquid force Team or any of the free motion range

You is big boys!! Hyperlites are strong good choice, Team is a good board probably one of the strongest L.F. boards. Dont skimp on the bindings. go for comfort which means trying as many as you can and spending a few bucks.
welcome to the dark side.

LF Team all the way! Great board with an aggressive continuous rocker, will get you all progressing quickly and perfect for just going w2w with the odd spin and grab thrown in rather than going for an abrupt 3 stage that would give the straight up pop needed for inverts.

I totally agree with Nick C on the importance of comfortable bindings. I reckon this has a huge impact on your riding pleasure. The ones that have seemed good to me have been LF Alpha and Watson or CWB Faction and Zeus.

get to a board shop to try bindings on as this is the only way to makes sure they are a good fit, supportive and comfortable.
