Hi, I am guessing that few members on here are into photography, was wondering how you charged your battery (s) when you are not in a hotel or house.
i am going wakestock but wanted to take the 400D to get some shots of the riders but was wondering how to get round this problem simon

The first thing I buy when I get a new camera for work is a second battery. Both fully charged before I go out, especially if I know I'm away from a plug for a while.
If you're away for several days (camping etc) the the car adaptor looks worthwhile. |

I don't know what size batteries the 400D uses, but I would recommend having a spare set of non rechargeable batteries as well as having spare rechargeable batteries and a car charger. They don't last as long, but when all the others run out, they are great!
(I got my best couple of shots when I was on safari in Botswana with my 'emergency' batteries! ) On a side note - I do always prepare for the worst case scenario and work on having 3 back up systems ( ) - which explains why I have loads of so called 'junk' floating around - so take my advice with a pinch of salt!! ![]() |
