Default Final Stop of the Vans Rococo Rail Tour

Hey People

I have some news for you all about the last stop of the Vans Rococo Rail Tour.

The event is called The Glass Butter Beach, Glassbutter Industries

Is anybody heading over?

The weekend of the 22nd & 23rd September sees the final stop of the Vans Rococo Rail Tour coming to Abersoch Beach. The weekend event is a combination of music and wakeboarding and is hosted by Glass Butter. A wakeboard course consisting of 5 obstacles is being built down near the groins on Abersoch Beach, Jetskis will tow the riders through the course in head to head heats that last for ten minutes. 16 riders will start and by Sunday evening we will be down to two riders fighting out for the top place in the final. It’s invite only and will witness some of Europe’s best riders battling against each other. Saturday’s riding will be between 4pm and 6pm and Sundays count down to the final will start from 5pm.

On Saturday night there is a Reggae Party at the Sandpiper with live music from Lazy Boys and 420’s and DJ’s Play and James John. The Sunday night party sees Brighton band I-KOMA returning to Abersoch at the PB supported by an acoustic set from Joel and DJ’s Play & James John. An awesome line up of music that includes a massive amount of local talent. Also don’t miss out on the giveaways from the sponsors Vans, Glass Butter, Alliance Wakeboard, Hyperlite and Relentless. Tickets are £5 per night or £7.50 for both and you can buy them from Glassbutter Industries, Abersoch Boardrider, PB or The Sandpiper.

sounds good, who are the 16 invited riders? I assume C.K. is one of them as he is sponsored by Glass Butter, any idea who else will be riding.

Hey

Yep CK has been invited. We will publish a full list of riders once we have everybody confirmed, you won't be disappointed though!

Toby I am affraid you will have to wait till 08 to hit the pool gap again. The Rail Tour is taking a different view of Rail riding for the final stop and instead of the Pool Gap we are building some serious rails and using Jetskis. The rails we have planned are going to be very progressive for the UK shores and will allow the riders to really show people what kind of rail tricks are capable on a wakeboard!!

I am also really looking forward to the format of 2 riders who are agaisnt each other being on the water at the same time! Its going to be a class act!

PS Toby if you want me to come and build the pool gap in your garden I will do it, call me and we can arrange a fee!!!!
