Jo Whiley Loves Wakeboarding
True. Here's what she says in the "Why I love..." section of this week's The Independent On Sunday: "I'm obsessed with Wakeboarding, it's like waterskiing crossed with snowboarding - you zoom along behind the speedboat on a plank of wood, and you can cross over the boat's wake doing spectacular jumps. Not that I get very spectacular."
She goes on to say lots of other nice things about wakeboarding. I've always had a bit of a soft spot for her, but now...

She has been championing wakestock for many years.
Her toes are a little too hairy for my liking though!

She and the rest of the family have been spotted at WakeMK many times.
Lewis Moody (England rugby union player throwing himself around the World Cup at the moment) also wakeboards.
