Raime Merrit is an unbelevable rider, but i think she tried to do too much in the final, considering how windy it was, she could have toned down her run taken no risks and won easily. i think she will learn from this. she fell on a kgb which obviously unsettled her, then fell straight away on a back roll.
Harley Clifford in the boys is untouchable and will shake up the junior men when he moves up, but he has another year in boys!
Our uk riders willl allways struggle against these guys who ride every day of the year and compete almost every week in Australia.
Considering the odds are stacked against us we dont do too badly, and everybody loves to watch the british riders style, Nick only got 4th but when he rode nobody wanted to miss it.

excuse me for being stupid here but how come Nic didn't get her expenses paid by WUK as a team rider or did they not pay for it all this year? seems crazy to me cos it sure as hell looks like the team could've used the points

We had to pay toward the trip and then I had still to get Nicola from the US to the UK and back plus her mom or myself had to accompany her because of her age. It would have run me about $3000 and as I said it is just sooo expensive
