Default Earls Court Boat Show

Looks like the new Whyte and Mackay Boat Show at Earls Court will have some good wakeboard related stuff... anyone thinking of going?

whoop i always wanted Matthew's autograph.
seriously though what is there of interest to wakeboarders? the quays and liquid leisure have booths apparently but they also have lakes and shops that are a lot easier to get to. cheaper too. so far as i know stew doesn't charge an entry fee to go to the lake and talk to him. monster towers are there but its not exactly interesting sorry mike but i reckon you would be better spending the money on advertising in mags or whatever rather than giving money to the people at the boat show (unless you actually have the chicks off the calenders there, then i take it all back).
are you going to see any 2008 boards or bindings? i seriously doubt it as i didn't see the words hyperlite, ultrasport or O'shea listed there. pool gap should be good tho....
basically nothing wake related that isn't at the main boat show and a lot less posh boats to look at. do we need 2 boat shows? the missing big boat companies seem to think not.....

Pat, no girls but I'm taking my speedos. Tempted? :P

I think it should be a laugh, there are plenty of sports boats there and for anyone into boats having companies like Riva allowing people to play with their boats is a big pull.

Wakeboarding is a small part of boating and tbh I think we're getting pretty awesome coverage with the pool gap and retailers.

Dunno about O'Shea... I've never known Farell take a stand at a show? Thought he lets Craig manage it at shows?

i think tower boy is right something like the pool gap will hopefully create interest for the sport which can only be a good thing

i have not seen the pool gap thing advertised anywhere the website only talk about a winter wonderland and a diving tank why has it been missed off the web info cos i am sure it would bring in more people if only out of curiosity

ddnt one of the organisers used to post here maybe they could answer
