i reckon the bwsf should buy the site as it would be a much better option than spending the same money on a long term lease

Attached is the ad that's going into the BWS mag.

We have been told that "this will not affect any 2008 memberships or prices, as these will be honoured should a buyer be found." Hope so.

I guess the bg question is... how much?!

Is it a going concern being sold in it's entirety? or is it literally just the buildings, lake and land being sold?

I would say going concern, if you look its being sold by 'business sales'. So im guessing its the business that for sale as opposed to land etc etc..

I'm pretty sure the land is included.

TEN80 is an independent business operating there so I don't think it will be included in the sale - but I may be completely wrong about this. Also there is a separately owned corporate events company on site. I believe the bar/restaurant is on a lease to the current operators but that expires in a year or two and will revert to the site owners who could issue a new lease or operate it themselves.

I guess revenue will come from:
1. The boat-owners lakes.
2. The cable - if you build one.
3. The lease to TEN80.
4. The lease to the bar/restaurant operators and/or from operating it yourself when the lease expires.
5. The lease to the corporate events company.
6. Anything else you can think of - and get planning permission for - on the land.

All of the above is informed guesswork and shouldn't be relied on! If anyone knows the real facts, please post 'em.
