It would be nice if the BWS would send a survey form to each club to see what the percentage split is for all aspects ie slalom kneeboard barefoot wake skate combo jump trick etc. This would then give a true representation of growth / decline in each part. Just hope they remember to put an "other" section .

I just wish they would not send me 3 separate envelopes with our membership cards in .....

just a quick calculation I reckon they could afford to grant aid 2 extra people if they saved on the postage....

yeah we get 3 seperate magazines as well! mind the bwsf never asked me if i skied or boarded so theres most likely more bwsf members that wakeboard than they know about.

I know my local club has about 50-50 split with wakeboarders and all other disciplines together at the moment

Where on earth do they get that figure from? I think I must know 20 wakeboarders who are BWS members and that's just in my area. I also have never been asked by BWS whether I am a boarder or a buoy dodger.

I can't believe they are basing decisions on something that they clearly haven't surveyed!
