Default Fuel Prices

Made the fatal mistake of filling the boat up on the water at Windermere yesterday.

Only one pump on the lake now so captive audience prices were applicable. £1.36 a litre, that’s £6.20 a gallon in old money!!!!

They had my pants down to the tune of £150.00, anyone know where fuel is more expensive than this.

I would imagine the fuel pontoon at Pwllheli marina is similar to this. I didnt catch how much it was this weekend, but they always seem to be about 10-15ppl more than petrol stations which would take it around the same mark.

Can you still fill up at the esso garage just before ambleside? Thats where we always filled the boat up running out of low wood.

I assume their petrol is the street price, high but less than aquatic at bowness.
