Alright people,
Went out for the first time last weekend since november was great still as crap as last year thou. Wanted to express my concern about the ban on windermere, on saturday i saw a jetskier bombing it round inside the 6mph limit by bowness i couldnt believe it, he was also joined by another speedboat racing him! People, if you want to carry on boarding on the lake stuff like this has gotta stop. These people are giving the national park a excuse to put the speed limit on the lake! i am only 17 and hope i would have many years of boarding left on the lake. It doesnt look like it would happen if stuff like this carries on! IF YOUR DOING IT STOP NOW!! Stuff like that really pisses me off and i know it does to other people aswell.

Hey Jonny,
I know what you mean, I was on windermere at easter and the amount of motor cruisers arsing about and putting out wakes that leave ducks gasping for breath is just stoopid! Its not all of them, but some just don't get that in a confined space they aren't driving sportsboats!

Once the policing of the lake is sorted out so "absent minded" lake users are stopped i don't think much of an argument is left for the ban.

hey any of you coming to the protest this weekend
meet on saturday with your boat just outside the bowness 6mph(towards ambleside) at 1.45pm, then parade through the 6mph, around 500 boats hopefully!!!! I gonna be a in a marshall boat 1998 blue/grey sammy duval keep your eye out
