Default wetsuits

what kind of wetsuit would you reccomend? i learned to wakeboard in the carribean where i didnt need a wetsuit, up here in chilly britain u need them so bad, any tips on what kind to get?

I would recommend a full one - shorties are a bit cold in winter. Also consider getting a thicker one cos the warmer you are the longer and better you can ride.

go for a 5/3, it will keep you nice and warm and extends your season.

I've got an O'Neill which is great for wakeboarding. Get one where the back zip is not full length.. this way you get less water in when you are sitting in the water waiting for the boat to come around. Also, zips aren't stretchy so it a short zip = more confortable suit.

make sure you pull the flap across so it keeps the water off your spine when your waiting to be towed.

Also... if you are don't match up with any of the mass produced wetsuits a custom suit by Snugg is well recommended by a couple of my mates. You can even order by post, they give you full instructions on how to measure up for a perfect fit.
