The UK Wakeboard Series of events for 2003 is full of questions, but now that Wakeboard UK has announced this year’s schedule, we at least know when we will be getting some answers!

The Pro tour will be returning to two hotbeds of the 2002 wakeboarding

Talking of changes, wakeskating has been added to the programme as an entire Series unto itself. The open Wakeskate division will premièring on the Saturday evening of each of the tour stops.
With appearances from the UK best wakeskaters, expect innovative new skate tricks while you sit back a enjoy a beer and a barbie.

The Series kicks off at on June 7th & 8th at The Quayside Wake & Ski, Mytchett, Surrey. The 2003 season continues with the inclusion of floating sliders and kickers which will see the UK’s premier wakeboarding athletes propelling themselves to even greater heights.

DON’T MISS OUT ON SEEING SOME OF THIS SPECTACULAR ACTION!

For the fifth season running, the tour is pulled by the Mastercraft X-Star. Mastercraft have been associated with the UK competition scene for as long as there has been Wakeboard events, and have contributed hugely to the popularity of wakeboarding in the UK.
Wakeboard UK is also happy to report the continuing support of North Shore Maui luggage and accessories. Nik Green from Northshore will also be on hand at all the events, supporting his team riders and pushing himself towards his goal of the UK Masters title.

Why not follow the tour in person and check the results online at www.wakeboard.co.uk

Wakeboard UK are also proud to announce that 'Wakeboard & Waterski' will be the official magazine for the Wakeboard UK series of events. They will be covering all the action with in-depth reports and the best photos you will see anywhere. Pick up a copy at your nearest main newsagent.

Who will be there?

See the current reigning 2002 UK Series champion Ben Hitch defend his title against Dan Nott, the current UK National Champion. Don’t forget Christian Thom (22) and a host of overseas riders including Aussie Craig O’Meara and South African Dieter Humpsch. Other riders in the UK brigade will include Tim Woodhead, Marc Rossiter, Robert Moyle and Jonty Green, all taking their shot at glory.
