Default what does uk mean ?

IM new to this uk thing so i want to know what the "uk" in wakeboard uk stands for and tell me about it where is it :?:

:-) sorry if we are such a small island in the sea and that not many people know about us but anyway United Kingdom used to be a big Empire ruling half of the world population, but now we are just ENGLAND, SCOTLAND WALES and NORTHERN IRELAND.

... plus a few smaller islands like the Falklands and Gilbralta, we even lost HongKong back in 1997.
