Default help to get out of the water !

superbeginner : I've tried to get up fot several days , but no way , board is always sinking and I have to let the handle go.

question : does the boat have to go full throttle ?

could someone give me some good advice, how to start ?

thanks

Try this:

Sit down on the ground with you feet shoulder width apart. Have someone give you a hand and pull you up. While you are being pulled up, move into a squat position and let your butt hit your heels and then stand up.

Getting up on a wakeboard is the same motion, just with a handle. You also must let your dominate foot drift forward once the board is under you. That is sometimes easier if you let go with your rear hand.

To determine your dominate foot, have someone push you from behind. The foot you catch yourself with goes in front.

thanks , I will try this !

any idea about the throttle of the boat , from zero to full speed , or a slow start. The boat we've bought is a bayliner V6 inboard , 225HP and it seems quite a hard pull when we start. some people say it's normal , other say you have to start much slower. (it doesn't work both ways)

thanks again

Throttle control can best be described as a strong, steady pull up to about 19 mph. For the Bayliner, this should be the point where the bow drops due to the boat being fully on plane. The strength of the pull is up to the boarder. I would start out at about 3/4 throttle and adjust; and pull back smoothly while the nose drops so you don't overspeed the wakeboarder.
