Riding a Ramp

I have the plans on how to build a wake ramp and everything, but i need to know everything about riding one. Do you use fins? -If So, any special kind? Should u hop before leaving the top? ANY INFORMATION IS USEFUL!!!! SEND EVERYTHING YOU KNOW!
