How do you make a bigger wake?

Is there any way to make my wake bigger? Cause that would be nice. I do have a fishing boat and some wells to put fish in. Does more weight = more wake. Also should i tilt motor more of an upward angle or downward angle?? I do habe a 40 horse power motor. its sad i know.

more weight no. 40hp ain't a lot. with a couple of people on board and some one off the back that motor is gonna be at it's limit. The kind of weight required to make a significant difference to wake size and shape is usually quite high. Better up on a small wake than bogged down in the hole eh? tilting the motor up will push the back of the boat down into the water and this may alter the size and shape of the wake however if you tilt it too much and you ain't got PTT then again you will struggle to get out the hole.
