Default Change of season....

Here in England, the summer has pretty much ended in the way that warm and sunny days are becoming lame. This means the motivation to get yourself on the water is becoming harder to achieve as you generally come out the water with blue toes and feeling the need for an extra sugary hot chocolate etc.

BUT, the good news is that this means theres the changing of the seasons, snowy mountains and blue bird days are not to far away...

So this is what keeps a smile on my face, i will wakeboard until i cant possibly stand the freezing cold water anymore and then i will move onto the mountains, and i booked my flight just last night to N.California so i'll be ready for when the snow arrives!!

So, do you keep up the wakeboarding through the long dark months or do choose to take advantage of the goodness that a new season brings you.....?

I'll keep up the boarding as long as I possibly can. The small, non-profit water ski club I joined stays open all year round... I'll probably invest in a dry suit, and keep going as long as the water is liquid, and it's not raining so hard you can't see to drive the boat.

Mind you, the water in the lake is still around 23 degrees C, so not so bad yet.. I'm off there in an hour for a few sets.

to true there tower boy ,we usally board more in the winter than we do in the summer dont ask me why but theres no need to stop when you can get a dry suit and carry on. i have 1 and would recommend 1 to any 1, i mine has been so good money well spent.

I am still not wearing a wet suit, not been that cold. I will be wakeboarding until they kick me out of there. Might try snowboarding this year, have never done it before but I need to do something.

Default Cold weather

Never say die. Keep going. I use a short wetsuit, a full length wetsuit, aor a drysuit, depending upon conditions. Here in MI, we quit when it becomes dangerous for the block from freezing, but not before. Drysuit - $200 plus shipping. Wetsuits - $49 - $199 plus shipping, depending upon style. rider@boarditup.com
