River Orwell

Hi all,
Does anybody know about boarding on the river Orwell?
Or any other rivers in the East Anglia region?
Any help gratefully received.

The is a ski club on the orwell, not sure of the name but its listed on the bwsf website.

You can ski on the river colne in Essex and the club I run is just over from the colne. Check www.bwspc.co.uk for more details.

I live on the Orwell (Ipswich). There is felixstowe club which is actually on the Deban. Its **** for boarders but i joined as its cheap to. If you want to ride on the Orwell you can go to levington where the ski area is but need your own boat.
I usually go to Waveney nr norwich to wakeboard. Nice informal friendly club and 6 quid a tow for memebers. Only problem is its an hours drive away. If your interested in going let me know and ill give you more info.

Have a look on the british waterski site under Eastern Rivers Waterski club this covers the rivers arund norwich etc cheap to join you must join the britishwaterski fed though to join. Are you visiting us any time this season for a chin wag ?

We used to board at Wolverstone all last season but i think they only let us as we had a yacht moored there aswell. Butthat was always good especially when we had Matt Crowhurst over to coach for 3 days it was awsome!

What is wolverstone? Im trying hard to find a more wakeboard friendly and closer place to ride sometimes.
