Default DO YOU NEED A TOWER TO WAKEBOARD

I just bought a wakeboard and was wondering if i will be able to just tie the tow line to the cleat in the back of the boat?

to start with that will do fine, as you progress though you might want to look at a pylon or tower 8)

You don't need it but it helps.

Pylon is cheaper and will give the same lift as a tower. But a tower you can hang you boards, speaker and light off which give more room in the boat.

Also if you riding direct off the transom thats as low as you can get height wise so any kind of pole will help.

i would highly suggest any way of getting the rope higher...like stack said, you want to get height. that is the whole idea you want the boat to pull you up.
